• Active ingredient: Each 1 ml contains 4 mg of ketorolac trometamol.
• Excipient(s): Benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, octoxynol 40, disodium
EDTA, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, water for injections.

1. What ACUFIX (GenericToradol) is and what it is used for

ACUFIX (GenericToradol) contains ketorolac trometamol as an active ingredient. eye drops of 5 ml;
It is presented in an opaque white low density polyethylene bottle with dropper and a pink colored screw cap.
ACUFIX (GenericToradol) belongs to the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, which have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
ACUFIX (GenericToradol) is used in the treatment of symptoms such as pain and foreign body sensation in the eye, sensitivity to light, burning/stinging and tearing after eye surgery called refractive corneal surgery.
In addition, it has been shown that ketorolac trometamol does not adversely affect eye pressure.

2. Before you use ACUFIX (GenericToradol)

DO NOT USE ACUFIX (GenericToradol) in the following conditions
If;
• If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the substances in the composition of the drug
USE ACUFIX (GenericToradol) CAREFULLY in the following conditions
If;
• If you have previously developed allergies to acetylsalicylic acid, phenylacetic acid and its derivatives and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or if you have a history of asthma • If you have had a surgical procedure on your eye;
Some nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (drugs for pain, fever and inflammation) may cause increased bleeding.
• If you are simultaneously applying steroids (anti-inflammatory drugs) to your eyes while using ACUFIX (GenericToradol);
Locally applied non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and steroids can slow or delay healing when used together.
• Topically applied nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug use may cause keratitis (inflammation of the anterior layer of the eye (cornea)) and may result in complex eye surgeries, nerve loss in the cornea, damage to the outermost layer of the cornea, eye surface diseases (eg dry eye syndrome) or a brief In the presence of certain eye diseases, such as repeated eye surgeries, or other diseases such as diabetes or arthritis, locally applied nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may cause undesirable effects that threaten your vision.
• You will use your medicine for more than 24 hours before surgery or more than 14 days after surgery;
• Long-term use may increase the likelihood and severity of undesirable effects on the eye surface. If you have a tendency to bleed or use other drugs that prolong bleeding time.
• If you wear contact lenses:
Since ACUFIX (GenericToradol) contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative, it may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. contact lens before application
remove it and wait at least 15 minutes before inserting the lens. Soft contact lenses are known to cause discoloration.
