1. What is Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen) and what is it used for?
Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen) is a blue, oval-shaped, film-coated tablet with a score on one side. Each film-coated tablet contains 100 mg of flurbiprofen. It is available in blister packs of 15 and 30 tablets.
Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen) is in the group known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to eliminate or alleviate various pains.
Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen)
• Rheumatic disease with joint inflammation (rheumatoid arthritis)
• Degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis)
• A rheumatic disease (Ankylosing spondylitis) characterized by stiffening of the joints between the vertebrae and reduced mobility (Ankylosing spondylitis) • Inflammatory diseases of the soft tissue around the joint (bursitis and tendinitis)
• Soft tissue injuries
• It is used in the treatment of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea).
2. How to use Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen)?
Instructions for proper use and dose/frequency of administration
The recommended total daily dose is 150 mg-200 mg in divided doses. :j
That means you take one and a half or 2 tablets a day. Depending on the severity of the symptoms of your disease, the dose can be increased up to 300 mg per day.

If you have used more than you should use from Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen), talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
If you have overdosed on Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen), drowsiness, nausea, vomiting and chest pain usually occur. In this case, symptomatic and supportive treatment should be applied. There is no specific antidote. It is useful to use activated carbon within 4 hours of taking Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen). Your doctor or pharmacist will help you in this regard.
If you forget to use Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen)
If you forget to take your tablets on time, take them when you remember. If the time to take your next tablet is approaching, continue your normal treatment without taking an additional dose. If you do not remember whether you have taken your medicine or not, do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten doses; the dose may be excessive for you.
3. What are the possible side effects?
Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen).

If any of the following occur, stop using Flurbiprofen (Ansaid,ocufen) and ;| IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department:
If;
Difficulty breathing (bronchospasm)
• Stomach and intestinal bleeding (bleeding in vomit or stool)
Yellowing of eyes and skin
• Hallucination (seeing things that are not there as if they are there, delusion)
• Blurred and double vision
• Fluid accumulation in the body (for example, swelling in the ankles)
severe headache, high fever, change in vision
These are all very serious side effects, If you have one of these,;! You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
If you notice any of the following, tell your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency department:
• Skin rash (urticaria)
• Hypotension or hypertension
• Kidney inflammation with loss of appetite, excessive thirst, vomiting (interstitial nephritis)
• Kidney failure
All these are serious side effects. Emergency medical attention may be required.
Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following:
Abdominal pain Nausea
Changes in appetite Changes in taste Dry mouth, chills, fever, sweating, palpitations Weakness, feeling sick
