1. What is arnuity and what is it used for?

arnuity is a member of the drug group called corticosteroids, it contains fluticasone furoate as an active ingredient.

arnuity spray is in the form of a white suspension. Available in amber colored glass bottles with a metered atomizer spray pump. The bottle is contained in an off-white, plastic device with a dose indicator, activation button and cap. (See figure

With arnuity spray, it can be sprayed 120 times.

arnuity is used to treat seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis symptoms in adults and children over 6 years of age. Watery eyes and itching, nasal congestion or discharge, and sneezing are the main symptoms.

2. How to use arnuity?

Instructions for proper use and dose/frequency of administration

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The recommended starting dose is 2 sprays in each nostril once daily.

Once the symptoms are under control, your doctor may reduce the dose of your medicine to 1 spray applied to each nostril once a day.

Application route and method

arnuity is administered as a nasal spray only.

With the help of the tip piece on the device, AVAMYS is easily sprayed into the nose. The end piece is covered with a plastic cap. The medicine sprays out from the nozzle when the activation button located on the side of the bottle is pressed.

Testing the arnuity spray:

If you are going to use arnuity for the first time, test the spray device for faultless operation.

1. While on the cap of the tip piece, shake the nasal spray. Remove the cover by pressing lightly on the sides with your thumb and forefinger and pulling it out. Be careful not to press the button on the side while removing the cover. (see Figure 2)

2. Point the end piece away from you and spray the air at least 6 times by pressing the button on the side. (see Figure 3)

If you do not replace the cap for 5 days or do not use AVAAMYS for more than 30 days, be sure to test the spray again before applying arnuity.

Application of arnuity spray:

1. Before applying the spray, clean your nostrils by blowing your nose.

2. Do not spray the spray into your eyes, if the spray accidentally comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water.

3. Tilt your head forward a little. Hold the spray vertically and insert the tip piece into one of your nostrils. Hold the tip piece against the outer wall of your nose.
