3. How to use BELOGENT?
• Instructions for proper use and dose / application frequency:
Apply BELOGENT twice a day (morning and evening) to the infected skin area in sufficient amounts. Do not use for 3 weeks.
Use in doses prescribed by the doctor unless otherwise advised.
• Application route and method:
Apply BELOGENT in a thin layer on the skin in the infected skin area.
Always strictly obey your physician's instructions when using BELOGENT. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Different age groups:
Use in children:
Due to the relatively wide surface of the injured skin in children and the underdeveloped skin protective layer, the use of betamethasone and gentamicin on the skin increases the blood circulation. Cloths used in children, especially those made of plastic, increase the passage of cream through the skin by acting as a closed dressing, and may cause undesirable effects to be seen. For this reason it is not suitable for use in areas with skin irritation. However, BELOGENT should be administered for short term treatment in children and with caution.
Use in the elderly:
The safety and effectiveness of BELOGENT in elderly patients has not been examined.
• Special use cases:
Kidney failure:
Dose adjustment is not necessary for patients with renal insufficiency.

Liver failure:
In patients with hepatic insufficiency, especially when there is a need for occlusive dressing to facilitate absorption, use BELOGENT carefully under observation due to the increase in betamethasone to the bloodstream, effects may occur due to the drug's blood circulation.
If you have an impression that BELOGENT's effect is too strong or weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more BELOGENT than you need:
If you use BELOGENT and need more, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
Overdose treatment should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted.
If you forget to use BELOGENT:
Do not apply double doses to compensate for forgotten doses.
Effects that may occur when treatment with BELOGENT is terminated:
