2. What is CAMPRAL and what is it used for?
CAMPRAL 333mg Enteric Tablet is a drug that dissolves in the intestines and is used in the treatment of alcohol addiction.
CAMPRAL helps to maintain abstinence in alcohol-dependent patients.
2.Things to watch out for before using CAMPRAL
DO NOT USE CAMPRAL in the following situations
If;
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acamprosate
If you have kidney failure.
If you are a child (under 18)
If you are elderly (over 65 years old)
If you are breastfeeding

Using CAMPRAL with food and drink

Use with other medicines
Using alcohol and CAMPRAL together does not affect the activity of both in the body. Disulfiram does not affect the structure of acamprosate and the combined use of acamprosate and disulfiram is well tolerated and increases alcohol-free tolerance.
Acamprosate; It does not interact with the depression treatment and anxiety treatment drugs (diazepam, oxazepam, tetrabamate, meprobamate and imipramine), which are commonly used in the treatment of alcohol dependence.
Taking it together with disulfiram has no effect on the activity of acamprosate in the body.
