What is DIPEPTIVEN and what is it used for?

DIPEPTIVEN is a solution that contains amino acids and is presented in 100 ml glass bottles for patients who need amino acid supplements. It is administered intravenously in the form of infusion. Dipeptiven is generally used together with salt, trace elements and vitamins as a component of balanced intravenous nutrition.


3.How to use DIPEPTIVEN?

Your doctor will determine the dose of your medicine depending on your illness and will apply it to you.

Application route and method

Dipeptiven is administered by infusion (i.v.) into a vein.

Before DIPEPTIVE is used, it should be diluted by mixing with another solution. Your doctor or nurse will make sure that the solution has been prepared correctly before applying a solution containing Dipeptiven.

The dose of DIPEPTIVEN is based on your body weight in kg; It depends on your body's ability to break down nutrients and its need for amino acids. The duration of use should not exceed three weeks.

If you use more DIPEPTIVEN than you should

If you have used more than you should use from DIPEPTIVEN, talk to a doctor or pharmacist. Symptoms of overdose include chills, nausea, and vomiting. For additional questions, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects related to Dipeptide are very rare and unlikely to occur.
Things to watch out for before using DIPEPTIVEN
DO NOT USE DIPEPTIVEN in the following situations

- In patients with sensitivity (high fever, chills, hives, shortness of breath, etc.) to Dipeptiven or any substance contained in it.

- in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment

- in the case of metabolic acidosis characterized by low blood pH

- pregnant and lactating women

If you are not sure whether you can use this medicine or not, consult your doctor.

Your doctor may want to make regular blood tests to make sure that your body is using Dipeptiven correctly and to check your condition. There is limited clinical experience with the use of Dipeptide for more than nine days.
