Active ingredient
Each 1 ml contains 1 mg of fluorometholone.

Excipients
Polyvinyl alcohol, benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, polysorbate 80, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, purified water.
2.What is FML LIQUIFILM and what is it used for?

FML LIQUIFILM is a white eye drop in a 5 ml plastic bottle. Contains fluorometholone as an active ingredient. Fluorometholone is a member of the group of drugs called corticosteroids.

FML LIQUIFILM is used for inflammations (inflammatory conditions) in the anterior part of the eye that respond to corticosteroids.


1. How to use FML LIQUIFILM?

Shake the bottle well before use.

Wash your hands before opening the bottle.

Always use your medicine as recommended by your doctor.

Unless your doctor recommends using it more often, 1-2 drops of FML LIQUIFILM are placed in the affected eye two to four times a day.

If your doctor deems it necessary, he may ask you to apply two drops per hour within the first 24-48 hours of your treatment.

Your doctor will decide the duration of your treatment, do not stop the treatment before time. When the treatment is terminated after long-term use, the drug should be discontinued by gradually decreasing the dose.

After opening, it should be used within 15 days, provided that it is stored at 15°C - 25°C.
Application route and method

FML LIQUIFILM is applied by dropping into the eye.

Apply your medicine to your eyes by following the steps below:

Tilt your head back and look towards the ceiling.

2. Pull your lower eyelid down until a small pocket is formed.

3. Turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze 1-2 drops into your eye.

4. Release your lower eyelid and keep your eye closed for 30 seconds.

5. If you need to apply to your other eye, step 2-4. repeat the steps.

If you failed to put the drop in your eye, try again.

To avoid eye injury and contamination, do not touch the tip of the FML LIQUIFILM bottle to your eye or any other place. Close the cap tightly immediately after use. If there is any medicine spilled on your face, clean it with a clean tissue.

Kidney/Liver failure:

If you use more FML LIQUIFILM than you should

If you have instilled more FML LIQUIFILM than you should, it is unlikely to cause you any harm. If you have used more FML LIQUIFILM than you should use, rinse your eyes with plenty of lukewarm water or physiological saline (saline containing 0.9% sodium chloride).

Drink plenty of fluids to dilute if accidentally drunk.

If you have used more than you should use from FML LIQUIFILM, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to use FML LIQUIFILM

If you forget to apply FML LIQUIFILM, apply as soon as you remember, unless the next dose is very close. Administer the next dose on time.

Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.

Effects that may occur when treatment with FML LIQUIFILM is terminated


2. What are the possible side effects?

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in FML LIQUIFILM.

If any of the following occur, stop using FML LIQUIFILM and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

If you have difficulty in swallowing or breathing, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue, talk to your doctor immediately or go to a hospital immediately, as this could be a sign of a serious allergic reaction. The frequency of an allergic reaction is unknown.

These are all very serious side effects.

If you have any of these, you have a serious allergy to FML LIQUIFILM. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.

The frequency of side effects is as follows:

Very common: may occur in at least 1 in 10 patients

Common: may occur in 1 to 10 of 100 patients

Uncommon: may occur in 1 to 10 out of 1,000 patients

Rare: may occur in 1 to 10 out of 10,000 patients

- Increase in intraocular pressure
