KYTRIL film tablet is taken orally (swallowed).

Active ingredient
One tablet contains granisetron hydrochloride equivalent to granisetron.

Excipients
It contains lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and hypromellose, titanium dioxide/i/7/, macrogol 400, polysorbate 80 as film coating agent.

1. What KYTRIL ROCHE is and what it is used for

    KYTRIL contains the active substance granisetron, which is included in the group of drugs called "5-HT3 receptor antagonists" or "anti-emetics" (preventing nausea and vomiting).

2. How to use KYTRIL ROCHE?

Always use KYTRIL exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Prevention of nausea or vomiting

The first dose of Kytririn is usually given one hour before your radiotherapy or chemotherapy. The dosage is as follows (up to one week after your radiotherapy or chemotherapy):
1 mg tablet twice a day, or
2 1 mg tablets once daily or
1 2 mg tablet once a day Treatment of nausea or vomiting

The general dosage is as follows:
1 mg tablet twice a day, or
2 1 mg tablets once daily or
1 2 mg tablet once a day.
Application route and method
It should be taken orally.
Take the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, with a glass of water) without chewing
different age groups

Use in children
Use in the elderly

Use in the elderly: There is no special use.
Special use cases

Kidney and liver failure: No special use.

Do not take more tablets than your doctor has told you.

If you have the impression that the effect of KYTRIL is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more KYTRIL ROCHE than you should

If you have used more KYTRIL than you should, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

3. What are the possible side effects?

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in KYTRIL ROCHE.

If any of the following occur, stop using KYTRIL ROCHE and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Allergic reactions (anaphylaxis): Swelling of the throat, face, lips and mouth, difficulty breathing and swallowing are among the symptoms of an allergic reaction.

If you have any of these, you have a serious allergy to KYTRIL. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
If you notice any of the following, tell your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency department:
Serotonin Syndrome: Symptoms include fever, sweating, chills, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, muscle tremors, convulsions, stiffness and withdrawal, overactive reflexes, loss of coordination, rapid heartbeat, changes in blood pressure, drowsiness, nervousness, fatigue, hallucinations, mood swings. mood swings, fainting, and coma.

Serotonin syndrome is a serious but uncommon side effect. Emergency medical attention may be required.
If you notice any of the following, tell your doctor.

Other side effects that may occur during the use of KYTRIL are:

Very common: may affect at least 1 in 10 patients
Headache
Constipation. Your doctor will monitor your condition.

Common: may affect less than 1 in 10 patients, but more than 1 in 100 patients.
Sleep problems (insomnia)
Changes in liver function shown by blood tests

Uncommon: May affect less than 1 in 100 patients, but more than 1 in 1000 patients.
Skin rashes or allergic skin reaction or hives. Itchy red bumps are among the symptoms.
Changes in heartbeat (rhythm) and ECG results (electrical measurement recordings of the heart)
Abnormal involuntary movements such as trembling, stiffening and contraction of muscles

4. Things to consider before using KYTRIL ROCHE


DO NOT USE KYTRIL ROCHE in the following conditions

If;
If you are allergic to granisetron or any of the ingredients of KYTRIL (see list of excipients)
Do not use KYTRTL if you are allergic to other "5-HT3 receptor antagonist" drugs including dolasetron, ondansetron, palonosetron and tropisetron.
USE KYTRIL ROCHE CAREFULLY in the following situations
If you have problems with bowel movements caused by bowel obstruction, use KYTRTE with caution.
Use KYTRTL with caution if you have a heart condition, if you are being treated for cancer with a medicine known to harm your heart, or if you have a problem with your salt levels (electrolyte abnormalities) such as potassium, sodium, calcium in your body.
The use of KYTRIL in children is not recommended.
