LAMIDE (generic vimbat) 100 mg film-coated tablet
It is taken orally.
• Active ingredient: 100 mg of lacosamide in each film-coated tablet
• Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, colloidal anhydrous
silica, anhydrous silicic acid (light anhydrous silicic acid), hydroxypropyl cellulose (low substitution),
Kollidon CL, magnesium stearate, opadry II 85F220114 yellow content (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium
dioxide (E171), polyethylene glycol/ macrogol, talc, iron oxide yellow (E172), Sunset yellow
FCF Aluminum lacquer (E110)).

1. What is LAMIDE (generic vimbat) and what is it used for?

• LAMIDE (generic vimbat) is a drug that contains an active substance called lacosamide and is used in the treatment of the disease called epilepsy.
• LAMIDE (generic vimbat) is a dark yellow, oblong, biconvex film-coated tablet.
• Presented in blister pack containing 56 film-coated tablets.
• LAMIDE (generic vimbat) is a medicine used alone or in addition to other epilepsy medicines in patients 16 years of age and older to treat a certain form of epilepsy (consistency) (see below).
• Epilepsy is a condition in which patients exhibit recurrent seizures.
• LAMIDE (generic vimbat), an epilepsy in patients aged 16 years and older in which seizures initially affect only one side of the brain, but then spread or do not spread to larger areas on both sides of the brain (partial onset seizure with or without secondary generalization)
It is used alone or in addition to other epilepsy drugs in the treatment of this form of epilepsy.

2. Before you use LAMIDE (generic vimbat)

DO NOT USE LAMIDE (generic vimbat) in the following conditions
If:
• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lacosamide or any of the excipients of LAMIDE (generic vimbat). If you are not sure whether you are allergic or not, please consult your doctor.
• If you have a significant type of heart rhythm disorder (second or third degree AV block)

USE LAMIDE (generic vimbat) CAREFULLY in the following situations
If:
If you have thoughts of harming or killing yourself, talk to your doctor right away. A small number of people treated with epilepsy drugs such as LAMIDE (generic vimbat) have had thoughts of killing themselves (suicide) or harming themselves. If these thoughts cross your mind at any time, please consult your doctor immediately.
If you suffer from a condition associated with electrical conduction in your heart (AV block, atrial
fibrillation and atrial flutter), heart failure or a severe heart disease, such as a heart attack. signs of AV block; slow or irregular pulse, feeling dizzy and fainting. In the case of atrial fibrillation and flutter, palpitations, rapid or irregular pulse and breathing
You may experience congestion. LAMIDE (generic vimbat) can cause drowsiness, increasing the risk of accidental injury or falling. Therefore, you should be careful until you get used to any effects from the drug.
Since the risk of heart disease may be higher in elderly patients, inform your doctor about this issue if you have heart disease or if you are using any other medication that may cause prolongation in heart rhythm. If these warnings apply to you at any time in the past, please consult your doctor.
If you experience signs of abnormal pulse [such as slow, fast, or irregular pulse, palpitations (palpitations), shortness of breath, feeling like you are about to pass out, fainting] while using Lamide (generic vimbat), contact your doctor right away (see section 4).

Using LAMIDE (generic vimbat) with food and drink
You can take LAMIDE (generic vimbat) with or without food.
It is not recommended to drink alcohol while being treated with LAMIDE (generic vimbat) because it may make you feel tired or lightheaded. Drinking alcohol can make these effects worse. Pregnancy
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
It is not recommended to use LAMIDE (generic vimbat) if you are pregnant because the effects of lacosamide on pregnancy and the unborn baby are unknown. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, tell your doctor immediately, your doctor will decide whether to take LAMIDE (generic vimbat).
If you realize that you are pregnant during your treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Breast-feeding
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
Breast-feeding is not recommended while using LAMIDE (generic vimbat) because it is not known whether lacosamide passes into breast milk. If you are breastfeeding, tell your doctor immediately, your doctor will decide whether to use LAMIDE (generic vimbat).
Studies have shown an increased risk of congenital defects (defects) in children of women who take antiepileptic drugs.
