XATRAL XL is a round, three-layer tablet containing alfuzosin HCl active substance and has a white layer between two yellow layers. One tablet contains 10 mg of active substance. There are 30 tablets in the blister in the box.
XATRAL XL belongs to a group of drugs called alpha 1 blockers, called benign prostatic enlargement, which causes the prostate gland to become larger than normal.

XATRAL XL is for adult males.
• Your doctor will tell you how and in what dosage you should use your medication.
• The usual therapeutic dose is one tablet taken every day after dinner. (1 XATRAL XL 10 mg Controlled Release Tablet)
Application route and method
• Take the drug on a full stomach so that it can take effect for a long time.
• Do not bite, cut into pieces, chew, crush or powder the medicine.
• Such applications may cause improper absorption of the drug.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Special use cases
Kidney failure
In patients with renal insufficiency, no special dose adjustment is required other than the dose recommended by the doctor. It should not be given to patients with severe renal impairment.
Liver failure
It should not be used in liver failure.
Unless your doctor recommends otherwise follow these instructions.
Your doctor will tell you how long your treatment will take with XATRAL XL.
If you have an impression that the effect of XATRAL XL is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more XATRAL XL than you should
Apply to the nearest hospital. Tell your doctor how many tablets you have taken. To avoid side effects, stay in a lying position as much as possible. Do not try to drive to go to the hospital.
If you have used more than you should use from XATRAL XL, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to use XATRAL XL
If you forget to take a dose of XATRAL XL and remember that you did not take it within 12 hours of the time you should normally take it, swallow your tablet immediately and take the next dose on time.
If it is more than 12 hours since you should have taken XATRAL XL, do not take the missed dose and only take the next dose on time.
Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
Effects that may occur when treatment with XATRAL XL is terminated:
If you stop using XATRAL XL without your doctor's approval, the beneficial effects of the treatment may disappear. Your complaints about urination may start again. Only stop using XATRAL XL when your doctor tells you.
Like all medicines, XATRAL XL may have side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in its content.
If any of the following occur, stop taking XATRAL XL and report to your doctor immediately or contact the emergency department of your nearest hospital:
• If you start to breathe with difficulty and wheezing.
Swelling of your face, tongue or throat that makes it difficult to swallow or breathe
• If your skin rashes and rashes with widespread itching on your body
If you have a previous cardiovascular disease and chest pain
These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, you have a serious allergy to XATRAL XL.
Common side effects (occurring in less than 10 patients in Eden)
Headache, drowsiness / dizziness

• Unhappiness, weakness (asthenia)
Uncommon side effects (occurring in less than 100 patients)
