What is 2.DEKORT and what is it used for?

DEKORT is a tablet containing dexamethasone, a drug in the corticosteroid group.

DEKORT is available in blister packs containing 10 tablets. Each carton contains 20 tablets.

DEKORT contains dexamethasone active ingredient.

DEKORT is effective in the treatment of various inflammation-related diseases in the body.

Dexamethasone allergic disorders, skin diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, rheumatic diseases, eye-related (ophthalmic) diseases, cardiovascular system diseases, blood diseases, muscular diseases, diseases that cause edema, digestive system diseases, nervous system It is used in the treatment of diseases such as diseases or respiratory disorders.
3.How to use DEKORT?
Instructions for appropriate use and dose / frequency of administration

The starting dose can range from 0.75 to 9 mg per day. In mild cases, it may be below 0.75 mg, and in more severe cases, it may exceed 9 mg. The daily dose should be divided into 3 or 4 parts.

The dose used may vary depending on the clinical picture of the patients.

Use in children

The starting dose of DEKORT in children may vary depending on the condition of the disease.

The starting dose is 0.02 - 0.3 mg / kg / day and is given in 3 or 4 portions.

Use in the elderly

4. What are the possible side effects?

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances in the content of DEKORT.

Difficulty breathing or fainting
Angioedema (face and throat swelling as a result of allergy)
